Newton’s third law. or, ‘even if I have to tiptoe’
I’ve never understood why people say they’re “falling” for someone, or “falling” in love. I’ve always thought it a more floaty sensation. Not that I’ve the chance to experiment with this concept. My embarrassed ego says I’ve put myself out there far enough. The desire to entertain “falling” loses out to composure maintanence. I even feel like I need permission before I open all my doors. Hmm, so far all ten toes must stay firmly on the ground.
Except when I lift up a foot to kick him.
